Aiming to be one of the most environmentally sustainable farms in the country, Gloria and Jarmo Gummerus have been cultivating coffee a little differently than most farmers in Kenya for more than 20 years. This extended-washed coffee carries bright berry notes, classic to Kenyan coffee, with an enhanced sweet and smooth profile. We only have a few batches of it, so don’t miss out. :)

Sakami Farm is the home to over 50 hardworking, coffee-loving powerwomen. Following regenerative practices, intercropping macadamia with coffee, protecting wetlands and indigenous trees, keeping natural bush areas around their coffee trees and hosting beehives to support biodiversity. They are strongly against the use of pesticides or herbicides and all coffee pulp and husks are transformed into nutrient-rich compost to feed their soil. They share knowledge and help neighboring farmers secure better prices. Recognized by the International Women’s Coffee Alliance, these women grow more than coffee, they cultivate change.
